Representative Jody Hice (R-GA-10), currently running to replace Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, will launch a statewide tour later this month to address election integrity and connect with voters.
Hice announced that his Election Integrity Fly Around Tour will commence Tuesday, February, 22. No one from Hice’s campaign returned The Georgia Star News’ request for comment on Monday.
Hice, in an emailed statement, said the 2020 election forced many Georgia voters to doubt whether the state has free and fair elections.
“Over the course of these three days, I will be visiting every region in Georgia to share our plans to secure our elections, aggressively pursue voter fraud, and restore confidence that each vote is counted and counted accurately,” Hice said in a statement.
Hice has scheduled his tour for the following times and places:
• 9 a.m., February 22, at the Athens-Ben Epps Airport Conference Room
• 12 p.m., February 22, at the Peachtree City-Hilton Peachtree City Atlanta Hotel and Conference Center in the Brooks Conference Room
• 3 p.m., February 22, at the Dallas-Paulding Northwest Atlanta Airport Conference Room
• 6 p.m., February 22, at the Dalton Municipal Airport Ramp

Former President Donald Trump endorsed Hice in a television ad last fall.
Hice announced in March that he wants to replace Raffensperger. The election is scheduled for next year.
Hice took office in 2015 to represent Georgia’s 10th Congressional District, according to his campaign biography. He serves on the U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Reform and the U.S. House Natural Resources Committee. For the 116th Congress, Hice serves as ranking member of the Subcommittee on Government Operations for the Committee on Oversight and Reform.

Accountability is of the upmost importance, the office of the Secretary of state is wholly compromised as well as the states attorney office. The voters of the state deserve integrity from the elected officials and the departments they oversee. We the voter on the republican side can’t even verify whether we’re even supporting conservative candidates in our primaries at this point. We have lost confidence in our electorates and understand they’re not representative of our values, and are realizing that they really don’t care about what the voter thinks or feels.
